James Kalm travels to Atlanta Georgia to allow viewers to take advantage of a generous invitation to visit one of Americas most unique art collections. Bill Arnett and his son Matt have amassed one of the largest collections of vernacular African-American art in the world. Featuring works from artists like Thornton Dail, Purvis Young and Lonnie Holley, the Arnetts are committed to the further study and advocacy of this vibrant but widely overlooked aspect of American visual art. Part I includes a virtually uncut interview with the controversial Bill Arnett, as he articulately explores the cultural implications of this work.

The Nearness of You -- Arnett Cobb 1982 This clip is from a concert in Berlin in 1982 featuring the original Texas tenor saxophonists. Arnett Cobb's solo piece Misty is accompanied by pianist Wild Bill Davis, bassist Bernard Upsom and drummer Frankie Dunlop. During some of the background riffs he is joined by Illinois Jacquet and Buddy Tate on tenor saxes. Arnett Cobb (1918--1989)was born in Houston, Texas. He replaced Illinois Jacquet in Lionel Hampton's band in 1942, staying with Hampton until 1947. Cobb then started his own seven-piece band, but suffered a serious illness in 1950, which necessitated spinal surgery. Although he re-formed the band on his recovery, in 1956 its success was again interrupted, this time by a car crash. This had long term effects on his health, involving periods in hospital, and making him permanently reliant on crutches; nevertheless, Cobb worked as a soloist through the 1970s and 1980s in the US and Europe.

Will Arnett (Lou Redwood) Will Arnett has been an extremely busy man of late. In the last year Arnett was seen opposite Will Ferrell, Jon Heder and his wife Amy Poehler in the figure skating comedy "Blades of Glory." He also recently starred in "Brothers Solomon" opposite Will Forte. The series previously earned a Golden Globe nomination and won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in its first season. The show also gained a cult-like following of loyal fans. Arrested Development Movie News - Arrested Development star Will Arnett talks to us while promoting the re-launch of the show on FX UK on February 8th. Will talks about the forthcoming and long anticipated Arrested Development movie. Will confirms that the cast are all on board even if they haven't signed up just yet. The show's creator Michael Hurwitz is currently writing the screenplay with a view to starting filming by the end of the year. When asked what to expect for his character GOB in the movie he says that while they'll be some crazy funny stuff there may also be some sadness. We're not sure how serious he is about that but what is clear is that the long delayed and rumoured film project is happening. Will admits that there are still a couple of things left to resolve before shooting starts but that everyone is ready to go. Will also confirms that widely reported rumours that Michael Cera was the lone cast member holding out and delaying production of the film were in fact started as a joke by himself and other cast and crew, but that they had to stop when Cera started getting one too many genuinely threatening letters.
