Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama (From "Sweet Home Alabama" DVD)

www.eagle-rock.com Lynyrd Skynyrd are the ultimate Southern Rock band. Their signature three guitar attack coupled to superb songwriting and massive on stage charisma has rightfully earned them a reputation as one of the greatest live bands of all time. The original band infamously had their career cut short by a disastrous plane crash in 1977 which took the lives of three members plus two of their road crew and seriously injured several others. In 1987 the surviving members reformed the band with Johnny Van Zant taking the place of his brother Ronnie. This concert from 1996 captures the band on top form at Rockpalast's Loreley Festival on 23 June 1996. Tracklisting: 1) Working For MCA 2) I Ain't The One 3) Down South Junkin' 4) Double Trouble 5) I Know A Little 6) Saturday Night Special 7) Swamp Music 8) What's Your Name 9) That Smell 10) Simple Man 11) Gimme Three Steps 12) Call Me The Breeze 13) Sweet Home Alabama 14) Free Bird Bonus Features: As a real treat for Lynyrd Skynyrd fans we have three tracks from the Hamburg Musikhalle on 5 December 1974 featuring the original line-up of the band performing their three best known songs: 1) Working For MCA 2) Free Bird 3) Sweet Home Alabama

"Sweet Home Alabama" - Musical Tesla Coils

These are two gigantic solid state musical Tesla Coils. A Tesla Coil is a special type of transformer invented by Nikola Tesla that is able to generating extremely large voltages using a phenomenon known as electrical resonance. Each coil in this video is capable of generating a 13 foot spark. This equates to about 500000 volts of electricity. The primary drive system for the coils consists of high power semiconductors arranged into an H-Bridge switching configuration. During a spark event, the coil is pulsed on for a few hundred millionths of a second. During this short time, thousands of amps circulate within the primary tank circuit and the energy is coupled into the secondary resonator through magnetism. So what appears to be a continuous burst of sparks is actually a specific number of sparks generated per second. By modulating the number of sparks that emit from the coil each second, different tones can be produced by the coils. These coils were constructed by Eric Goodchild and Steven Caton. Eric Goodchild is currently an EE student at ASU Polytechnic. Forrest Gump - Sweet Home Alabama

Forrest Gump music video I spent ages on this one so all comments would be greatly appreciated. Oh and to all your people who have commented or are about to comment. Thank you! You're all brilliant! Do make sure to check out the channel, never know you might find another video you like eh? The reason it says Vilhelm123 at the start is because the video was orginally up under my old account before I got banned for copyright reasons. I wasn't remaking it for the sake of three numbers. I read all of the comments even if I do not reply to them all and I make an effort to reply to questions and decent comments. But please forgive me if I miss your question!

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter! www.facebook.com @reedtimmerTVN Video of four violent wedge tornadoes from different supercells in eastern Mississippi into Alabama, including the EF-5 that occurred near Philadelphia, Mississippi, as well as the birth of the Tuscaloosa tornado. Sadly, this tornado outbreak over "Dixie Alley" was responsible for substantial loss of life and property across MS, AL, GA, as violent tornadoes struck Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and other populated areas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this tragedy.

Hitler Reacts to Alabama-LSU BCS Championship Rematch (Downfall Parody)

Hitler discovers that the #2 Alabama Crimson Tide and the #1 LSU Tigers will have a rematch in the 2012 BCS Title game. He is not pleased. Made this video just for fun, not a Cowboys or Crimson Tide fan either way. I feel bad for OSU fans, but that's the way the BCS works. Hopefully a playoff system is somewhere down the road... Original film is Downfall, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. Check it out, it's a good movie. *Edit 1* A lot of people keep trying to say the 2006 OSU-UM situation is a bad example, because both teams lost in their BCS bowls. People who think this need to realize that you're looking at the situation with the benefit of hindsight. It doesn't matter that both OSU and UM would eventually lose in their respective bowls; at that point in time they were regarded as the undisputed #1 and #2 teams. People used UM's loss to OSU as an argument for why the Wolverines shouldn't have a National Title bid, which is the exact same situation Alabama found itself in with LSU (except, Alabama obviously got the BCS title bid). The point being, if UM didn't get to go because they lost to the #1 team, why should Alabama be able to go despite losing to the #1 team as well? OSU/UM's later performances in their bowls is completely irrelevant to the argument.
